‘Landscape Photography with Depth and Impact’
by William Patino
The perfect addition to his presentation on the 15th, this photography workshop will dive deeper into the image making process. Learn Will’s approach to digital landscape photography and his tips for editing your own shots.
At this workshop William will share a selection of photographs along with raw files, breaking down the complete workflow from out in the field, to the steps used in post processing. Topics covered will include composition theory (what to look for and why), planning the shoot, capturing the scene, working with direct light and high dynamic range scenes, overcoming problems in the field and how to reveal depth and atmosphere in raw files.
Learn Wills methods for shooting high dynamic range scenes (sunrise and sunsets), exposure blending, focus stacking, tonal and color separation in Photoshop and more.
This workshop will equip attendees with a range of efficient tools and techniques for creating landscape images with impact and 3-dimensional depth. Plus, you’ll learn Will’s fresh perspective on approaching the landscape and working with light. There will also be time for thorough Q&A and opportunity to get feedback on your own work if time allows.
