NPSNZ “Workshop on Light”
Date: Saturday 16 November 2019
About the workshop:
Light is the key element in producing a photograph. It determines how a subject will be represented in terms of which parts will be light and which dark, while also setting the tone, mood and the atmosphere of the image. Therefore, recognising different kinds of light and understanding how best to make use of them is essential to producing consistently good photographers.
The workshop will be in two parts and you will get the best out of it if you first do the exercise provided:
- Discussion of images.
Workshop participants are asked to provide images for the group discussion using the following exercise: please log on to the Forum for these details.
