Around 12 or so members turned up at short notice for a Pop-Up field trip to Travis Wetlands on a Saturday morning.
This trip was organised by Murry Cave who was on a flying visit to Christchurch. He also arranged a lovely fine day with a great variety of, mainly, water birds for us to photograph.
As usual everyone scattered to find good possies and we spent a pleasant couple of hours seeking that magic bird shot.
We finished off with some of our number sampling the coffee at a nearby café.
