Botanic Gardens – The Herbaceous Border

It was drizzling when 6 of us met by the Herbaceous Border.  The colours were beautiful and water droplets were interesting. Unfortunately the rain became steadier and we went to find shelter in the glasshouse, where our lenses promptly steamed up.  The begonia house and cactus room were more congenial for our cameras and we made some images there.  We finished up with a coffee at the Ilex Café in the Visitors Centre
