Trip Report by Bob Wright – Edmonds Gardens and Woodham Park – 23 September 2015

It did not look too promising weather-wise the night before, however, it turned out fine and Pol, Liz, Maureen and Alicia joined me for an enjoyable hour and a half photographing a collection of Daffodils, Pansies, Daisies, Marigolds, Magnolias and other spring flowers in the gardens. Unfortunately the ducks have not taken up residence this year – maybe as the result of a bad experience last year with the ducklings.  It was great to have Alicia, a new member join us and be welcomed into the group to share our photographic experience with her.  We didn’t make it to Woodham Park – not the best light and not much of significance to photograph and concluded with a friendly chat over a warm drink at the Portstone Garden café.
