Wednesday 18 May

By Maureen Pierre

It was lovely to have a pop up in the Botanic Gardens with Gina recently.  At last the autumn colours were on full display, and made a good subject to try some ICM, along with other ideas, such as high key images.

Our group wandered along the herbaceous border, and through the maples, and then found some of the small often overlooked corners.  Here we even found interesting red fungi growing.  The poppies looked particularly attractive with the water drops from the early mist on them.

The morning finished with coffee and snacks at the Ilex, and it was great to sit in the sun and catch up with other members. Thanks to Gina for organising.
