Magnolia Madness – Mid-week Meander
Thanks to Liz Clark for leading this trip to explore the Botanic Gardens. A group of 8 of us set off from the bridge, first to see the magnolias, and then to experience the hidden nooks and crannies, where the spring flowers were in bloom. Although the magnolias weren’t as fully out as they have been other years, there were plenty around to keep everyone clicking. Then the usual field trip scatter with everyone heading off, finding subjects and sharing what had been found with others in the group in passing. The final spot was the café, which was as always enjoyed by all. I can really recommend the passionfruit, coconut and white chocolate muffins. Another excellent mid-week meander.
