Port Levy Saddle in Winter

Saturday 9 June 2018

Trip Leader and Trip Report – Rob Lawrence.

Every one thanks the leader, but I reckon the thanks go to the team that attend, as that is what makes the day. The Port Levy Saddle is a place that changes with the time of day, the season, and the weather. The scars of the wind are evident, the effect of humans are everywhere ….. and the views are amazing. There is something for everyone, what ever you are into – textures – landscapes – vistas – macro – zoomies – (hearing pipits rather than photographing them). I am glad I did not take the camp chair out, that would have been worse, than the extra 18 kg I was already carrying. Perhaps in spring.
