Propagating Greenhouses – Wednesday 29 July
By Liz Clark
Once again Maureen organised a midwinter treat and we were able wander through the propagating houses which are usually out of bounds to the public.
Initially it is overwhelming as there are so many amazing plants and so many choices; exotic flowers, textured leaves, colourful stems, winding vines, spiky cacti, patterns and curiosities, that it
is hard to decide what to photograph first.
The time flew by as we explored the various areas which vary in temperature and all too soon we moved next door to the cafe where we enjoyed coffee and a chat.
Thank you Maureen.
ps. please sign me up for next year.
