Miraculously, the morning was calm for our annual Spring Botanic Gardens field trip attended by nine, including one new member. I had arrived early and checked on the Heritage Rose Garden but there were few blooms at this stage. I’m sure there will be a huge change by mid October.
We delighted in the tulips, magnolias, cherry blossom, ducklings and numerous other Spring floral treasures.
By the time we gathered for a cafe stop, the wind had made an appearance.. how lucky we’d started out early. I hope everyone got some images they’re happy with. Here are a few from my phone..
