Sumner Beach Field-Trip 28th Feb 2018
Field-Trip Guide: Bob
Field-Trip Report: Bob
Nine brave souls chanced the weather to have a ramble along the Sumner walkway from Cave Rock to the clock tower. We all came prepared for a wet morning that did not eventuate so the light was pretty good without much shadow. The time spent around Cave Rock gave the opportunity to see the variety of lava colour and local rock pools on the beach made for some suitable subjects. Low tide gave a vast beach area and minimal people. The plants on the road side of the walkway, though limited, provided a suitable variety of subjects. The after match function at the Blackbird café enabled us to have a general chat and comment on how surprising it is to take so many photos in such a short time and also to catch up on the latest medical procedures.
