22 November 2023

The day was overcast and breezy which set a few challenges for the seven of us
but didn’t dampen our spirits. Three of us, including Edwin a new member, ventured over to “Flora and Otto”, a chair and footstool, for a closer inspection. They were created with the broken china from the Christchurch earthquake in 2011. It took a year to complete them.  In the Heritage Garden the array of scents, colours and textures of the roses, delphiniums, foxgloves, peonies, irises and many other plants provided subjects for everyone. Macro, multiple-exposers and icm images were made.
Then off to the Ilex for the regulatory coffee and chat. Thanks Judy for getting us out there and everyone for making it an enjoyable morning.
