NPSNZ members have interests in diverse areas of photography. Many have
developed expertise in particular field skills and post-processing techniques.
Workshop 1 was the first of, hopefully, many more hands-on learning opportunities
where members share their expertise. At this first workshop, seven members (Caro
Collins, Robyn Owen, Kath Varcoe, Barry Dench, Greg McKenzie and Robert Green)
presented on five topics:
▪ Creative Corner – ICM and Double Exposure etc
▪ Focus bracketing and stacking – how to take focus bracket & stack
photos
▪ Focus stacking software – how to use Helicon Focus software to stack
photos.
▪ Taking panoramas and how to merge photos in software
▪ Using a Flash Diffuser for Macro photography
Notes from these presentations are available on the NPSNZ Resources page of the
website – Workshop Resources – Nature Photography Society of NZ
