Paul Jansen: Capture

Paul ‘Scratch’ Jansen is one of a handful of people who can claim to have saved species:
from helping save the black robin to leading kiwi, kākāpō and kōkako recovery programmes.

His presentation highlights the development and vital role that image capture has played in solving the causes of decline of our threatened species and how it continues to be a powerful tool in unpicking the complexities and challenges that face New Zealand’s natural heritage.
