Eleven of us showed up for Robyn’s late summer in the gardens. As usual, the group of attendees bore little relation to the list of members on Robyn’s piece of paper. She had some great suggestions for novel approaches to photographing the perennial border, which was our destination for the morning. I look forward to seeing the results from the others, as I’d already decided that I was going to work on double exposures for the morning, so, sorry, Robyn, maybe another day. We rounded out the morning at the Ilex café, pleasantly uncrowded under overcast conditions, which had suited our photography perfectly. Thanks everyone, for your great company.
