On Saturday 23 January a group of six plus one society members embarked on a walk around the Christchurch CBD on the hunt for Penguins and other photographic opportunities. The pop-up penguins were all decorated by local artists and will be auctioned off to raise money for the Cholmondeley Children’s Centre.

Our walk took us from the museum to the cathedral, library, Margaret Mahy playground and then onto Cashel Streel. We then found a café for some morning tea and coffee.

While not strictly a real nature trip it was nice to walk around our CBD with other interested photographers.

Thanks to Andrea Thompson for setting the walk up.
