James is a keen landscape photographer with a strong fascination with wildlife and the outdoors. His outdoor activities over the years have included mountaineering and ice climbing in Europe and Canada, bicycle racing in Brasil, Indonesia and Tahiti, and most recently paragliding in New Zealand. His photographic journey has generally revolved around the outdoors, with his camera heading underwater and to the tops of several volcanoes. James was awarded his Associateship with PSNZ in 2016 and has most recently achieved EFIAP/b in 2021
