“Nature photography for me is just a part of being out in the natural world and I have been photographing the natural world for 60+ years. I love to be out in the great outdoors – on my own, with Chris (my wife), my daughters and grandchildren, or with people who share my love for nature and conservation – and silence. The camera is always with me. I am primarily a landscape photographer and love to capture the moment, whether it is the big landscape or a tiny segment of nature on the forest floor or a native bird in its natural habitat. I love mood, black and white, square, and simplicity. I am my own harshest critic!”
