Wednesday 6th December
Thanks to Liz for running this annual trip to Mona Vale gardens at a time when the gardens are at their best. Eleven members enjoyed the bright sunny day without the strong winds of late. The gardens offer a variety of plantings including meadow, formal rose beds, colour matched perennial borders, shade lovers and hot sunny tolerant plants. The Avon river provides soft watery patterns, birds and interesting shaped bridges and structures. Our morning was completed with a coffee and scones at a nearby café.
