Location: Riccarton Bush
Date: Saturday 19th February 2022

Gentle golden light treated seven society members at the gates to Riccarton Bush at 7.30 am on Saturday morning. After a short chat we slowly wandered across to the gardens at the back of Riccarton House taking photos of illuminated tree branches, cicada shells and fungi. Around the gardens there were flowers and seed heads to be snapped. Then into the bush for more fungi, pigeons, textures, and leaves. As we came out of the bush many other visitors started coming through so it was good to be there early.
A few of them had a morning coffee and wander around the market before heading off for the rest of the day.
