We had a special day at Castle Hill on Saturday the 17th of October
As John said afterwards ‘The weather behaved admirably, the company was great, the coffee and scones were – as always – awesome, the temperature warmer than anticipated, and lighting excellent for the photography we were doing.’
John was highly organised, gave us a great briefing suggesting that, given the lighting conditions, we try black and white images. We soon scattered among the rocks with our buddies, exploring many corners of this fascinating place.
We gathered again early afternoon and moved to the Cave Stream car park for lunch then explored both ends of the cave.
Thank you to John and Chris for making this a very successful day. I’m sure, like you, we will return again and again.
